I’m not usually the kind of guy to promote the Dutch liberal drug policies, but the fact is that they do work. With cannabis freely available in my country to all adults, cannabis use is distinctively lower in the Netherlands than in the surrounding European countries.

Yet many foreign policy makers refuse to acknowledge this fact, sticking to their blind prohibitionist principles. Yes, the ‘War On Drugs’ really worked for America, didn’t it?
